Established in 1936, Billy Greaves Insurance Agency still remains family owned and operated. It is now proudly in its third generation and maintains the same values and principles since its origin.

Clearly, education is of utmost importance to the agency, and we are proud of the fact that we have been honored with the Professional Development Award by the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas.

The owners and staff at BGIA are heavily involved in the industry on the local and state levels. Deni Townsend, CIC, is the past president of the Independent Insurance Agents of San Antonio and the Insurance Women of San Antonio. Additionally, Deni has served on the Legislative and Education committees of the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas and on the board for the Federation of Insurance Women of Texas, Inc.

Billy Townsend has been with the agency since 1972 and is extremely well respected for his knowledge in the business, especially in regards to the commercial contracting sector. Billy is designated as a Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS) and is very passionate and meticulous about the relationships built with and coverage provided for his customers.

Furthermore, Billy Greaves Insurance Agency is an avid supporter of the youth in agriculture in the State of Texas as well as the 4H Program.
